From Gary Pack, JPFA President:
It is another year and another great time to celebrate our heritage! The first thing we want all of you to do is mark your calendars for the John Pack Family Association (JPFA) Reunion! It will be held at This Is The Place Heritage Park in Salt Lake City on Saturday August 13th 2016 from around 9:00 in the morning until around 2:00 p.m. in the John Pack house there. Bring your families and enjoy this amazing park! On Friday night August 12th we will also be hosting our JPFA Genealogical Gathering for everyone in the family who is interested in the latest adventures in the research of our ancestors and what we can do to better collaborate as an extended family.
The second thing we want all of you to do is forward this to all of your extended family email lists so more of our family members hear about our JPFA and join us in this wonderful family history extravaganza, please use the links at the bottom of this email to forward it to your family!
The third thing we want everyone who is anyone in the Pack family to join us on the JPFA Facebook page where we can share fun things and gets news and updates from all around the family! Find that page at https://www.facebook.com/
Next, which would be fourth, for those who are into doing temple work for our ancestral lines, Janeen Lambert has found a whole bunch of related Pack family names that need to have their work done, and would love to share some names with anyone who would like to get the work done. Please contact her directly at jpacklamb@gmail.com if you would like to work with her on this important task.
And finally, which would fill one whole hand at five, we need more volunteers to help us on the JPFA Committee to help decide direction, Reunion details, organizational issues, genealogical treasure hunters, and article writers for the JPFA Newsletter! Please respond and let us know if you are interested in helping us achieve some great things for the John Pack legacy!
